Description
We are seeking a Development Support Coordinator who is proactive and resourceful with a positive attitude. Excels in a supportive role with keen attention to detail. The Development Support role provides support to Development Officers by assisting with evaluation and analytics of territories, portfolios, best communication strategies, prioritizing and prospecting, event guest planning, assistance with the donor engagement plan and other projects as necessary.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate analytics on portfolio and possible prospects for portfolio
- Assist in the creation and management of donor engagement plan
- Evaluate donor pipeline
- Identify and manage invitee lists for table hosts for events
- Assist with “thank you” correspondence as assigned from time to time
- Review records in Raisers Edge to update contact information as assigned
- Maintain an organized system for tracking donor communications and engagements
- Assist with donor prospect research and prepare profiles on potential major donors
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date entry in the donor managing system
- Draft and proofread correspondence such as donor letters, thank-you notes, and reports
- Run reports on donor engagement, fundraising progress, and event attendance for Development officer’s review
- Support the cultivation and stewardship of donors, including preparation of follow-up communication
- Assist with tracking and reporting on fundraising goals, donor gifts, and financial progress
- Other duties as assigned
Requirement
- Must agree with and sign First Liberty’s Articles of Faith
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must possess computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft applications
- Familiar with CRM databases or able to pick up new technological systems with proper training
- Firm understanding of the defense of religious freedoms
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, with a ken self-awareness
- Highly developed listening and questioning skills
- Able to a communicate and articulate through writing and speaking on various public policy issues, business acumen, and general current event knowledge
- Able to engage and serve a variety of people and personalities
- Able to handle security-sensitive information and maintain confidentiality
- Self-starter with great time management skills
- Passion for supporting the ministry and goals of First Liberty
