Description

Most entry-level jobs hand you a script and a task list. This one hands you a seat at the table.

We are building something real at Turns, and we are looking for one person to grow with us from the ground up. This is a structured, one-year residency where you will work directly alongside our VP of Operations and leadership team — not as support staff, but as a genuine contributor on live initiatives that matter to the business. No busy work. No onboarding limbo. You will be in it from day one.

The best performers in this program earn a path onto the Turns sales team within their first year — with commission upside and a level of business context that most early-career salespeople spend years trying to get.

If you are about to graduate and you are not sure which direction to go next, that might be exactly the right answer for this role. We are not looking for someone who has it all figured out. We are looking for someone who is ready to figure it out — fast, and alongside people who will push them.

Before you sell the solution, you have to deliver it. Your first year at Turns is structured around three areas of real work — not busywork, not shadow-and-observe. You will be in it.

Customer Excellence

You will work directly alongside our customer support team on a select set of high-stakes service issues, bringing them to fast, thoughtful resolution. Every interaction you handle is an opportunity to re-win a customer. You will use Slack, Outlook, and industry-specific platforms to stay close to the action and ensure every Turns customer leaves thinking: I love my laundry company.

Operations & Execution

You will coordinate across store managers, production staff, and drivers to identify and solve operational bottlenecks. You are the connective tissue between the digital plan and the real-world execution. No two days look the same. That is the point.

Strategic Projects with the VP of Operations

This is where the residency becomes a real accelerant. You will work directly with Vince Kelly, VP of Operations, on projects that sit at the intersection of growth, customer experience, and operational scale. These are not busywork projects. They are live initiatives with real stakes, including:

Migrating our commercial billing experience to a new platform

Building a world-class guest care experience for our commercial clients

Designing systems and templates that make excellent customer experiences effortless and repeatable

Managing inventory organization and flow through our warehouse

Moving and adapting commercial laundry volume through our warehouse and laundromat network

Quarterbacking our driver network via route software to ensure on-time, complete, and profitable deliveries

The best performers in this program earn a path onto the Turns sales team. By the end of your residency, you will not just know the product — you will know the soul of the company. When you are ready, you will move into a full sales role with commission upside that reflects the impact you are now equipped to make.

The compensation structure leads with a competitive base salary. The move to a commission-based sales role happens when you are ready — and by that point, you will have spent a year building the context, the relationships, and the credibility to hit the ground running.

We do not hire leaders at Turns. We grow them. Our preference is to promote our best people into the biggest opportunities. The clearest path to growth at Turns is being someone who creates it.

Requirement

You are sharp — not necessarily polished, but fast. You pick things up quickly, connect dots that others miss, and you do not need a lot of hand-holding to produce something good. People like being around you, and you know how to work a room whether you are naturally loud or naturally quiet.

Wherever you have shown up — a campus organization, a side project, a job, a team — you were probably the one who saw the problem before anyone else named it and started working on a solution before anyone asked you to. You are not waiting to be handed a challenge. You are the kind of person who makes one.

You are coachable — genuinely, not performatively — because you actually want to get better, not just be seen as agreeable. You are not attached to your first idea. You are attached to finding the right answer. That mindset — spot it, build it, refine it, scale it — is exactly how Turns grows. And it is exactly how the best people here have grown with it.

What you want now is a place where the work is real, the feedback is honest, and the ceiling is yours to set.
