Social Media Intern and Event Assistant

Hours: 8-10 hours/week
Pay: $15/hour
Start Date: February 15

Location: Dallas, TX, Remote except for events

What We Need 

We’re looking for a creative, motivated Social Media Intern to help bring our brand to life online—primarily on Instagram and tiktok. This role is perfect for someone who’s chronically online (in a good way), loves weddings, and knows how to tell a story through content.

You’ll be working mostly independently, so we’re looking for a true self-starter—someone who takes initiative, runs with ideas, and doesn’t need hand-holding. You’ll still have weekly check-ins and support from our Owner, Assistant Planner, and Lead Planners.

What You’ll Be Doing

Content Creation & Posting

• Create Instagram posts, stories, and reels that match our brand vibe
• Use a mix of professional photos and candid iPhone content from weddings and behind-the-scenes moments
• Plan, schedule, submit for approval and then publish content while hitting weekly posting goals

Strategy & Trends

• Track weekly metrics (engagement, reach, growth—aka what’s actually working)
• Join weekly reviews to talk through content performance and upcoming ideas
• Stay up to date on wedding + social media trends and pitch fresh content ideas

Team + Event Support

• Work closely with our planners to capture real, meaningful moments
• Occasionally assist on wedding days (and help capture BTS content when needed)

Requirement

You’re a Great Fit If You…

• Love social media and content creation (especially Instagram)
• Know your way around reels, trends, and storytelling
• Are comfortable shooting content on an iPhone
• Are organized, proactive, and good at working solo
• Take initiative and aren’t afraid to pitch ideas
• Have a genuine interest in weddings, events, and people
