Description

We are a growing Christian Preschool looking for amazing teachers who have a passion for littles, teaching and Jesus. As a 3 day a week program, our teachers have flexibility to be moms, students, and enjoy their side careers as well as engage with students among a fantastic group of teachers.  With our class sizes way below national averages, and 2 teachers per class, you will always feel seen and heard as you put your own creativiy and spin on curriculums.  

 

In addition to hourly pay we offer PTO, paid holidays, paid required training/CPR/First Aid, and an amazing support group of fellow teachers.

Requirement

General Requirements: 

• 18 years old or older
• Must have good communication skills and have heartfelt concern for both children and adults. 
• Present themselves in a professional manner by following the dress code guidelines, excellent communication skills, team player that takes initiative and shows flexibility, patience and understanding. 
• Prior experience of at least two years in a licensed facility and familiar with the Texas State Minimum Standards or CDA or Associates in Early Childhood Education will be given preference. 
• Must complete an FBI background check, including fingerprinting, and FBCR’s Child Protection Program (CPP) background check. 
• Attend and maintain the required Minimum Standards annual training of 24 hours per year. 

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for working with co-teacher in room to plan and develop age appropriate curriculum, to be turned in monthly. 
• Must be punctual and dependable in attendance
• Must be organized and ready for the day
• Open communication with parents by daily written reports, email and phone call if necessary
• Must be knowledgeable of states of growth and development of specific age group you are teaching
• Responsible for progress assessment for each child
• Model behavior for students, parents and other teachers
• Limits discussion regarding children to respect confidentiality
• Assist in other school events
• Performs all other duties as assigned
