Description
Youth Equipped to Succeed (YES) is seeking a relationship-driven Mentor Coach to implement and manage the YES student mentoring program at assigned school campuses. Serving as the primary YES representative, Mentor Coaches build strong relationships with students, educators, and administrators while facilitating mentoring experiences that support student growth, connection, and leadership development. This role requires a high level of initiative, organization, and ownership, as Mentor Coaches independently manage their programs while advancing the YES mission of growing value and vision in youth by combating isolation and imparting hope.

Requirement
Program Facilitation & Student Engagement
- Independently manage and facilitate the YES mentoring program at assigned school campuses.
- Lead weekly mentoring sessions that foster student connection, leadership development, and personal growth.
- Implement YES curriculum and mentoring activities with consistency, excellence, and fidelity.
- Build meaningful relationships with students while providing coaching, encouragement, and support.
- Monitor student engagement and mentor-mentee relationships, addressing challenges and opportunities for growth as needed.
Campus Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary YES representative and point of contact at assigned campuses.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with school administrators, counselors, teachers, and other key stakeholders.
- Coordinate program schedules, logistics, and communication to ensure a positive experience for school partners.
- Represent YES professionally and contribute to a strong reputation within the school community.
Program Administration & Accountability
- Track attendance, participation, and program outcomes.
- Administer surveys, evaluations, and other assessment tools.
- Maintain accurate records, demographic data, and required program documentation.
- Submit reports and documentation in a timely and organized manner.
Team Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
- Prepare materials and resources needed for mentoring sessions and activities.
- Support mentoring events, student leadership opportunities, and program celebrations.
- Participate in team meetings, trainings, and organizational initiatives.
- Contribute ideas and feedback to strengthen mentoring curriculum, student engagement strategies, and overall program effectiveness.
Other General Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in education, youth development, psychology, social work, or a related field preferred.
- Experience working with youth in educational, mentoring, or school-based settings preferred.
- Experience facilitating student groups, mentoring programs, or leadership activities is a plus.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel to assigned school campuses.
- Ability to pass a background check required for working in schools.
- Flexibility to attend occasional evening or weekend events as needed.
