Job Summary:
The Advising Administrative Coordinator and Enrollment Services Communication Manager facilitates essential administrative functions for Academic Advising, Enrollment Services, and coordinates student communication for Advising, Registrar, and Financial Aid with current students.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Respond to student questions by phone, text, or email directed to the Academic Advising department.
Develop a student communication plan for Advising, Registrar’s Office, and Financial Aid in consultation with Enrollment Services staff.
Coordinate the implementation of and ongoing review of the student communication plan (reports, content, etc.).
Process student Advising forms (catalog change, concentration, LOA/Withdrawal forms, request a degree audit, degree change follow up, etc.).
Process degree change (reclassification) review after approval by the Admissions Committee.
Complete monthly credit card reconciliations for various Advising or Enrollment Services staff (as needed).
Assist with processing Advanced Standing (AS) requests and exam results. Communicate with students, faculty, and staff regarding AS grading and processes.
Plan and coordinate Advising or other Enrollment Services related events.
Manage office supplies and work orders for Academic Advising.
Provide support for data entry and review as needed.
Assist with Project Phoenix testing, data validation, or tasks.
Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Canva, or related software.
Education and Experience:
A DTS student or graduate. (desired)
At least two years related experience in administration or communications. (desired)
Works well with a variety of age groups and diverse backgrounds.
Bilingual is preferred. (Spanish, Chinese, or Arabic)
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
