Wellness Education Speaker (Full-Time)

Description

Youth Equipped to Succeed (YES) is seeking an engaging Wellness Education Speaker to deliver impactful educational programs in schools that equip students to navigate today’s challenges and make healthy decisions. Serving as a representative of YES, Wellness Education Speakers facilitate presentations that are relevant, age-appropriate, and engaging for student audiences while building positive relationships with educators and school staff. Topics may include emotional wellness, bullying prevention, online safety, healthy relationships, puberty and adolescent development, sexual health, and drug and alcohol prevention. This role requires the ability to bring YES program scripts to life through engaging, authentic presentations that resonate with students while maintaining alignment with YES standards and messaging.

Requirement

Presentation & Audience Engagement

• Deliver engaging Wellness Education presentations to students, parents, and educators in school and community settings. 
• Facilitate age-appropriate programs that address topics such as emotional wellness, healthy relationships, online safety, bullying prevention, puberty and adolescent development, sexual health, and drug and alcohol prevention. 
• Create meaningful learning experiences that capture attention, encourage participation, and connect with diverse audiences.

Content Preparation & Excellence 

• Master, memorize, and accurately deliver assigned YES program scripts and content. 
• Deliver content as designed, with minimal deviation from approved scripts and key messages. 
• Independently manage script learning and preparation to ensure readiness for program delivery. 
• Maintain presentation materials, equipment, props, and resources needed for successful program delivery.

School & Community Partnership

• Serve as a professional representative of YES in all interactions with students, educators, administrators, and community partners. 
• Maintain high standards of professionalism, reliability, and responsiveness

Team Collaboration & Growth 

• Participate in a highly collaborative and supportive team environment that values encouragement, accountability, and continuous improvement. 
• Engage in team trainings, script practices, and professional development opportunities. 
• Contribute ideas and feedback to strengthen programs, student engagement, and organizational impact.

Other General Requirements

• Public speaking, teaching, training, facilitation, or presentation experience preferred. 
• Ability to memorize and accurately deliver YES program scripts in an engaging, authentic, and dynamic manner.
•  Strong verbal and written communication skills. 
• Ability to manage responsibilities, meet deadlines, and maintain a high level of professionalism. 
• Passion for equipping youth to make healthy decisions and reach their full potential. 
• Ability and willingness to travel locally, throughout Texas, and occasionally beyond for speaking engagements. 
• Reliable transportation required.
