Overview
The Digital Campaign Specialist focuses primarily on technical execution across email platforms and donation tools. This role ensures campaigns are built correctly, data flows properly between systems, and automations trigger as intended. You will work closely with strategists and client success teams to translate campaign strategy into functional, measurable digital execution.

Key responsibilities
Email Campaign Execution
- Build and deploy email campaigns in platforms such as Mailchimp, ActiveCampaign, and similar systems.
- Execute email setup, including audience configuration, segmentation, tagging, testing, and scheduling.
- Perform light email design and formatting, with a stronger emphasis on technical accuracy and functionality.
- Conduct QA on links, personalization, tracking parameters, and automation triggers before launch.
Donation Page and Form Execution
- Build and configure donation pages in platforms such as FundraiseUp, RaiseDonors, and others.
- Ensure forms are properly structured for tracking, attribution, and CRM integration.
Automations and Segmentation
- Build and manage automation workflows, including new subscriber and new donor series.
- Implement advanced email segmentation based on behavior, engagement, and giving activity.
- Partner with strategists to ensure segmentation aligns with campaign goals.
Technical Support for Strategy
- Speak confidently about platform capabilities so strategists can design campaigns that align with technical reality.
- Advise on what is possible within a given tech stack and recommend practical solutions.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, tracking, and automation within client systems.
Requirement
Qualifications
- Passion for mission-driven work and supporting Christian organizations.
- 1 to 4 years of experience in email marketing, marketing automation, digital fundraising, or marketing operations.
- Experience working within email platforms such as Mailchimp, ActiveCampaign, or similar tools.
- Familiarity with donation platforms such as FundraiseUp, RaiseDonors, or comparable systems is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and high standards for accuracy.
- Comfort working with spreadsheets, tracking sheets, and structured naming conventions.
- Basic understanding of UTM parameters and digital attribution.
- Ability to troubleshoot issues and independently research solutions.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
Experience
- College graduate; degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field preferred.
- Agency or nonprofit experience is a plus but not required.
- Experience working across multiple digital platforms preferred.
