Temporary Part-Time Maintenance Assistant: The Maintenance Assistant serves all ministries and departments within the organization and assists in the maintenance of church property and equipment. Assists Facilities Manager with all building systems including HVAC, HVAC controls, lighting, roof, doors, access control, electric, plumbing, fire suppression, alarms, etc., and works with corresponding contractors. Anticipates the needs of the ministries and departments within the organization to ensure facility needs are met. Assists Facility Manager in developing and managing checklists for all routine
maintenance, PM schedules for all equipment, and building supplies and janitorial
supplies inventory. This is a temporary part-time (up to 25 hours a week) non-exempt, hourly position and is eligible for overtime. It is not eligible for PTO or benefits.  Must be willing to occasionally work nights and weekends as driven by events.  Must be able to speak fluent English.

Requirement

College degree preferred. Six years of experience in property/facilities
management or equivalent preferred. Time management, flexibility, strong leadership, and
organizational skills are required. HVAC, plumbing and/or electrical experience and
