World Gospel Outreach is looking for the right person to join our team as the Spiritual Life Coordinator at Rancho Ebenezer in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. The essence of this position is to help build a true Christian Community and a strategic discipleship plan. This will be accomplished by prayerfully assisting the Ranch Director and the managers under the Ranch Director with programs to encourage spiritual growth and development for both staff members and children. The Spiritual Life Coordinator will oversee development and assist in implementing these programs with the goal of encouraging attitudes that reflect maturity of faith. These programs may include, but are not limited to, the twice-weekly chapel programs and periodic small group experiences. The Spiritual Life Coordinator will also strive to create opportunities to enhance worship, discipleship, personal development and the spiritual lives of staff members and children at the Ranch. The essential requirements and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
Essential/Key Responsibilities include:
● Spiritual Leadership
● Ministry Planning and Development
● Staff Care and Development
● Coordinate different aspects of spiritual growth, such as prayer calendars, chapel, discipleship programs, retreats, etc.
● Be available to help in any area when other staff members are not unavailable
● Assist with aspects of Serve Team and Volunteer management duties when requested or in the event that the respective managers are unavailable
● Engage staff and children in activities and take part in activities as requested
● Display a spirit-filled lifestyle in your personal and professional life
● Communicate well with supervisors, peers, and children
● Maintain status as a full-time fundraising missionary
● Pursue personal spiritual growth
Requirement
Required Skills/Abilities include:
● Must be a born-again believer in Jesus Christ
● Good leadership skills, to lead coworkers, volunteers and children
● Bi-lingual, fluent in both Spanish and English
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Education, Experience & Other
● Be a U.S. citizen
● College degree relating to spiritual development, spiritual leadership, or related field preferred
● Prior experience in some form of spiritual leadership
● Knowledge and understanding of cultural issues and differences that may arise
