Have you ever wondered why Jesus talked in parables? His disciples did, so they asked Him about it. He said He spoke in parables because He didn’t intend for everyone to understand His teaching. We are privileged to receive knowledge that is hidden from others. So what’s our part? We need to recognize when God is speaking to us and to watch for His hidden secrets all the time. We are being given insight into an invisible Kingdom and, make no mistake about it, it’s the Kingdom that matters. When this world fades away, God’s Kingdom will remain. So we need to know its secrets — for abundant life now and for all eternity.
